Hey there, beautiful souls, and welcome to the very first post on my blog! My name is Chassidi “CeCe” Sillemon Williams—hairstylist, prophetic voice, entrepreneur, and your new favorite blog buddy. If you’re here, you’ve probably caught a glimpse of one of my many brands: IVIBE, I Am Victory or Get Up Prophetic Empowerment. Or maybe you just stumbled in because you were Googling “how to tame 4C hair” and ended up in a Holy Ghost-filled corner of the internet. However you got here, I’m so glad you did. Stick around, because this is the start of something powerful!
Let me keep it real for a moment: 2025 is all about resetting. I’m not talking about a trendy detox or a Pinterest-perfect vision board—I’m talking about digging deep into the areas where I’ve been stuck, lost, or, quite honestly, avoiding. I’ve made up my mind that this is the year of Victory, and I’m inviting you to join me on the journey.
Who Is CeCe, Anyway?
Let’s get personal for a second. I’m a Dallas girl through and through, a wife, mom, salon owner, mentor, and a woman who’s not afraid to take her lashes off to cry before the Lord. (Seriously, I’ve had to learn to keep a pair of backups in my bag—priorities!) For over 23 years, I’ve poured my heart into my clients as a hairstylist, helping them feel beautiful inside and out. But my journey hasn’t been without bumps, bruises, and a whole lot of lessons.
Over the past few years, I’ve faced some tough challenges in my relationship with God, my finances, and my health. Let me just say, it hasn’t been easy being the “Victory Girl” when I felt anything but victorious. My spiritual walk felt more like a crawl, my emotional eating was out of control, and my finances? Let’s just say I was NOT following biblical principles. But here’s the good news: God’s grace is real, and His mercies truly are new every morning.
What’s the Vision for 2025?
This blog is my space to share my journey in three core areas I’m focusing on this year:
1. My Personal Relationship with Jesus Christ
I’m pressing reset on my spiritual walk. No more surface-level prayers or treating my relationship with God like a casual “hey, how you doin’?” I’m getting intentional about going deeper, because I know He’s calling me higher.
2. Financial Stewardship According to Biblical Principles
Y’all, let’s talk about money. I’ve been there—robbing Peter to pay Paul and then dodging calls from both of them. But this year, I’m committing to being a good steward of what God has given me. Tithing, budgeting, and building—one biblical principle at a time.
3. Taking Control of My Wellness Journey
I’ve been undisciplined in my relationship with food, using it to comfort my emotions instead of nourishing my body. Sound familiar? This year, I’m learning to honor the temple God gave me, balancing grace and accountability as I step into a healthier lifestyle—spiritually, emotionally, and physically.
Why Victory?
Victory is more than a word to me; it’s a declaration. As a prophetic voice and a leader, I’ve learned that we can’t effectively pour into others from an empty cup. This year is about relearning what it means to walk in victory—not just for me but for everyone connected to me. Whether you’re a hairstylist looking for inspiration, a woman struggling with discipline, or someone just trying to keep it together, my prayer is that this blog blesses you and challenges you to reset in your own life.
Let’s Do This Together
Through this blog, I’ll share my heart, my lessons, and a little laughter along the way. You’ll find posts about faith, beauty, wellness, and real-life moments where I’m just trying to figure it all out like the rest of y’all. But more importantly, I want this to be a space for you. Engage with the content. Share it with your circle. Leave comments. Let’s grow together, because Victory isn’t just my name—it’s ours.
I’ll leave you with this scripture that’s anchoring me for 2025:
“You crown the year with a bountiful harvest; even the hard pathways overflow with abundance.” - Psalms 65:11 (NLT)
Closing Prayer
Heavenly Father,
Thank You for being the God of new beginnings. As I embark on this journey and share it with others, I ask that You bless this blog and the hearts that read it. Help us to reset in You, to steward what You’ve given us well, and to honor You with our lives. Crown this year with Your abundance and lead us in the victory You’ve already declared over us. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
So let’s get ready, friends—2025 is here, and Victory is our name!
With love,
CeCe Sillemon-Williams
